Dr. Adams speaks to Third Grade
Dr. Adams recently went to visit Laura Sturgill's third grade class at Galax Elementary School. While there Dr. Adams spoke about his love of books, by reading a chapter of "All Creatures Great and Small" by James Herriot and his choosen career. He encouraged the students to develop a passion for books and apply them to their future. On Friday, the students were able to dress up as their goal profession. These are the two students who would like to become veterinarians.
A special thanks to Mrs. Sturgill and her class for inviting me in to speak!!! -Dr. Adams
“My veterinary experience began at Foothills Pet Healthcare Clinic at age 18 and continued through college. I am now 24 and have worked in the field for over 5 years. Although I no longer work for Foothills Pet Healthcare Clinic, I will always consider the doctors and staff as family. There is a level of professionalism, sincerity, and dedication to bring people and their pets together that cannot be explained by words alone. Foothills is not only a great place to work but is the clinic I will continue to bring my pets to in the future.”
