Trail came to us at Foothills after a run in with a Raccoon that was rabid (always a bad idea). Because his rabies vaccine was expired, his family faced a difficult choice; either board Trail for 6 months in an approved facility, or have him euthanized. His family loves him dearly so they brought him to our clinic where we have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him. We have grown very attached to him and his sweet personality. He is a sneaky fellow and a great climber so we have had to adapt. We will all miss him terribly when his time with us over. The moral of story - even good dogs get into trouble so be sure to keep all of their vaccinations current.
