Dr. Shelby Pardoe - Veterinarian

Shelby Pardoe

Dr. Shelby Pardoe was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. She moved to Missouri in 8th grade and started working at a local veterinary small animal practice as a kennel technician and veterinary assistant. She graduated from Nixa High School and went on to complete her BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Missouri State University.

Dr. Pardoe pursued her veterinary career through St. George University in Grenada, West Indies. While living on the island she worked for the "Feral Cat Project" trapping and spaying/neutering stray felines to help with the overpopulation problem on the island and realized the importance of outreach within your community. After three years of didactic learning, she moved to Knoxville, TN and completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee. She graduated with honors in May 2026. She particularly found a love of dentistry, soft tissue surgery, cardiology and oncology when in veterinary school.

When not practicing, Dr. Pardoe spends time with her cat Reginald, who she adopted from a shelter in Knoxville, TN. She enjoys baking with her sourdough and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. One of her favorite things to do is pick up a new book and read it in a hammock on a nice spring day. Dr. Pardoe is a proud Auntie to her niece Rosie and her soon-to-be nephew Isaac. She looks forward to adding more family members to her household in the future.
